About
Hi, my name is Allie and I’m a writer and producer based in Los Angeles specializing in developing unique concepts and scripts, as well as soup-to-nuts creative producing.
Most recently, I produced the feature film STRESS POSITIONS, directed by Theda Hammel and starring Hammel and John Early, which premiered in the U.S. Dramatic Competition at Sundance 2024 and was distributed in theaters by Neon Films. I’ve also had film work screen at festivals like Tribeca, Outfest, NewFest, New Orleans, and more. My TV work has aired across streaming and network platforms like HBO, Netflix, TBS, Comedy Central, and MTV. I once worked for the hit immersive theater show “Sleep No More” and later produced a sold-out run of Wallace Shawn’s “Marie and Bruce,” which The New York Times called a “frisson of erotic challenge.”
Formerly, I was a reporter and editor for AOL/The Huffington Post, and a contributor to outlets like The Onion, A.V. Club, New York Magazine, Time Out New York, and more. I hold a BFA double-major in Creative Writing & Media Studies from Emerson College, and graduated from the Columbia Publishing Course at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. I’m also a proud member of the WGA.
A proficient pastry chef, in my free time I’m either baking, watercoloring, crosswording, or abusing the Alamo Drafthouse Season Pass.
